Check Out our January 2021 Series:
Classes run weekly. Depending on the topic they can run for 1-6 weeks. They vary in length from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Attendees could be unlimited or a small group of four other dog owners. It all depends on the topic at hand. These Classes are offered virtually.
Classes have an array of live demos with our in house demo dogs, or pre-recorded demonstrations. We also have Chat+Chew sessions where we dive into different related topics in a lecture style or a round table discussion. Time for Q&A's as well. There will also be plenty of training to be had with your dog, so we will be guiding you through lots of exercises... prep those bait bags.
Varying modes of communication outside the classroom through Teachable's Coaching Platform. Teachable is the software that houses all our Online Courses. We provide each participants time to ask their questions during class, but, each participant can utilize the Teachable's Coaching Platform to speak to the trainer directly (and privately). Individual assistance and coaching is provided through Teachable's Coaching Program, along with weekly homework, that is often individualized to the owner and dog.
Each week there will be many lectures, demos, handouts and exercises provided to participants. All of these resources are available as an Online Course for review on our Teachable Courses Platform. Along with this, our classroom sessions are recorded, so if you happen to miss the session you can view the downloaded class on the platform as well. The Online Courses are available for purchase to complete on your own if you aren't interested in attending a class.
Unsure if virtual dog training classes are the right fit for you? We find these offerings provide those with fearful and reactive dogs able to learn safely in a classroom setting. Dog's that are easily distracted or get a little overwhelmed in new places too means you have one less hurdle when it comes to honing your dogs companionship skills. Furthermore, you can do all the training in the comfort of your own home, and pjs are optional.
